Um, this may change later once I have transferred my stuff.

Hello everyone and welcome to my new journal. While perusing the pages of my journal, you may notice familiar pieces. This is because I was a former Live Journal member under the id, Nuavarion. I decided on changing my journal for several reasons:

1.While the name is of one of my original characters, Nuavarion just didn't seem to fit me any longer.
2.The journal was too fragmented for my tastes and I wasn't very active on that account anymore anyway.
3.I wanted to make a community that I could enjoy and share my stories, art work and other pieces on and I wanted their themes to kind of match, so I created this account, the name and title stemming from a collaborative Tin Man piece I have been working on with fixin_a_glitch who is also a known on the community I made as paperbee.
4.And finally, there was just too much grief and stress related to the Nuavarion account, and I just wanted a fresh start, hopefully while keeping some if not all of the friends I had as Nuavarion.

Now, just so that you are aware and hopefully I don't piss anyone off at a later time, in August-September of '08, I was diagnosed with Adult ADD... I am not using this as an excuse for my potential behavior, but wish my friends to know that this is something I am trying to get a handle on. Since being diagnosed, I have had my doctor prescribe two forms of medications that weren't right for me, and so I never filled them, I have since spoken with him again and told him of my concerns on this and he wishes to do more tests before putting me on anything, so for now, as I have always been, I am on my own with this in the fact that I do not have the symptoms of ADD controlled by medications so from time to time I do go through massive mood swings.

Now, on to the biography and creative side of things:

Come January, I will celebrate my 30^th birthday this year. I have been writing since I was in 5^th grade where I wrote my very first semi novel length or detailed story. Don't ask where it is right now, I have no idea... LOL. All I know is that my parents have it somewhere as they throw hardly anything away, I just couldn't tell you where exactly.

I do have all the poetry I wrote from mid-school on through some of my college years and I will be transferring that from the Nuavarion account when I get the chance. One story I wrote in high school I am missing and I really wish I had gotten it back, but alas, it is gone. Back in high school I wrote an original vampire story for a class assignment and I think that either the teacher was senile and forgot what she did with it and lost it, or it scared the crap out of her and she didn't want to give it back to me to finish... I am kind of thinking it's the later rather than the former. I had written it on my uncle's computer and after I printed out the one copy; only had time to do the one before school that day; he thought I didn't need it anymore and deleted it and back then, as far as I knew, there was no data recovery. Anyway, I have been wracking my brain for the details of this story over the years and there's a lot that I do in fact remember, so maybe one day it will grace me with it's presence again.

One thing I hate about having Adult ADD is that I have so many pieces that are in progress. I currently have 3 Lord of the Rings stories, 1 Moonlight story, 1 Yugi story and 1 Inuyasha story, 7 Harry Potter and 4 Tin Man solo projects in process. This is not counting the 3 Harry Potter and 2 Tin Man collaborative pieces that paperbee and I are working on.

I have been writing in the professional capacity since the summer of '05 when I received my diploma from Long Ridge Writers Group for completing their Breaking into Print course for short story and magazine writing. As of spring '08 I am a graduate of their Shape, Write, and Sell Your Novel course. In February of '07 I self published my poetry from my mid-school through college years. The book is called Journey Through Darkness and can currently be found on Amazon. I am also in the midst of editing and revising this book for publication which I hope will be under a house publisher since with the self published version there are several printing errors since they didn't give me an editor to help go through everything.

On other creative fronts, I have made various digital art pieces using Daz 3D Studio that were both solo and collaborative efforts. These are currently only on photo bucket because deviant art has recently been accusing me of stealing my own work when I changed user names there and I have removed the rest of my pieces from there.

I have also done several music videos this year using streaming video, some can be found on youtube under drakeluvr however, I hope to have my own website sometime after the first of the year to which I will be moving them along with my art and stories to since youtube has also recently removed a couple of my pieces since people, or artists, have claimed copyright to the songs I set the videos to and youtube is a stickler for rules.

A recent and almost completed endeavor of mine is creating a Live Journal mood theme to go with my journal. You can see the icons I've created so far at photo bucket as well, also under drakeluvr. I do not mind if you use these icons, all I ask is that I am credited for making them as it has been a very time consuming process in making them. Since they are animated, I have had to resize frame by frame. I am keeping track of how many frames are in each icon so I will have a count at the end. Thus far, I am over 1,200 frames done.

Another little side project, and yes, ADD is rearing it's ugly head here as you can tell since this is midway through the second page on this bio for Live Journal, is working with Saint Fighter Aqua from Deviant Art on his website, the Oz and Baum Wiki being responsible for the Tin Man and MGM The Wizard of Oz content which I was working on before my computer crashed and we had two funerals to attend in October-November. I will also need to be getting back there to work on some more stuff in the next day or so.

And finally, I have been going through the Oz books I have found available and getting them into PDF format for those of The Old Road community that I started. The community is a broad spectrum Oz theme, spanning MGM's Wizard of Oz, Disney's Return to Oz, and Sci Fi's Tin Man and from the Famous Forty Oz books from L. Frank Baum, Ruth Plumly Thompson, John R. Neill, Jack Snow, Rachel R. Cosgrove, Eloise Jarvis McGraw and Lauren Lynn McGraw to the Wicked series by Gregory Maguire.

On a more personal background, I am the youngest of two daughters, I'm married and live in Rio Rancho with my husband of nearly eight years, and with my German Shepherd, Peter where I work from home.
